Privacy Policy

Information we collect

• Account information: your email address and a securely hashed password (via Supabase).
• Voice data: audio is processed via speech-to-text and immediately discarded. Only text transcripts are stored.
• Memory and preferences: personal context you share (goals, habits, preferences) that Sage uses to coach you.
• Integrations: data from connected services (calendar, wearables) that you explicitly authorize.
• Payment information: handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.
• Usage data: basic analytics about how the app is used, server logs, and IP addresses.

How we use your information

• To provide personalized coaching, morning briefs, nudges, and insights.
• To operate your account, process subscriptions, and provide support.
• To improve Sage's coaching quality and service reliability.
• To keep the service secure and prevent abuse.

AI processing

To provide coaching, your transcripts and memory context are processed by third-party AI providers (such as OpenAI) acting on our behalf. We send only what is needed to generate your personalized responses. Your data is not used to train third-party models.

Voice privacy

Audio recordings are processed via Deepgram for speech-to-text and immediately discarded. Only text transcripts are retained. Voice responses are generated by ElevenLabs using generic voice models — your voice is never cloned or stored.

Memory and data control

You can view, edit, and delete any memory Sage stores about you at any time from your dashboard. Memories decay naturally over time based on relevance. You have full control over what Sage remembers.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers who help us operate Sage (hosting, AI processing, payments) under appropriate confidentiality obligations, or when required by law.

Data retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data from Settings or by contacting us. Deletion is completed within 30 days.

Security

We protect your data with encryption in transit, hashed passwords, token-based authentication, and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to safeguard your information.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. Contact us to exercise these rights.
